Founded in 1984, the Orphée Vocal Ensemble (EVO) is now more than 40 years old, an age of significant maturity.
EVO has learned how to renew itself, to grow, and to maintain a strong identity within the cultural spheres of Geneva and surrounding areas. The ensemble is characterized by its in-depth work on vocal technique, its collaboration with some of the best soloists and orchestras in the region and an ambitious musical programme.
Our repertoire ranges from Baroque to the 20th century, from sacred music to opera.
Although the EVO is partial to the greatest masterpieces of the oratorio repertoire, often performed with an orchestra, the director is pleased to introduce his audience to rare, less familiar works.
